FAITH FORMATION IS THE PRACTICE OF EXPLORING, NURTURING AND DEVELOPING OUR BELIEF IN GOD AND THE WAY WE LIVE OUR LIVES. OUR FAITH IS ALWAYS IN A PROCESS OF GROWTH, IT NEVER REACHES FINAL COMPLETION. A WIDE VARIETY OF OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE TO NURTURE YOUR FAITH.

Children/Youth Faith Formation – Faith Formation Classes for children grades 1 through 8 are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm from September through May. They take place in the parish school building.

Certified Catechists share their faith and knowledge, assisting parents who are the first and best teachers of the Faith.

CROSSROADS – Seeking paths to an adult understanding of our Catholic Faith “Crossroads” is the title used by five Catholic parishes to refer to their shared efforts to provide opportunities for Adult Formation in the southwest region of metropolitan Grand Rapids. The Crossroads consortium consists of St. John Vianney and Holy Name of Jesus parishes in Wyoming, St. Pius X Parish in Grandville, Holy Redeemer Parish in Jenison, and St. Sebastian Parish in Byron Center.
