"Cursillos in Christianity" is an apostolic movement of the Roman Catholic Church. It was founded in Majorca, Spain by a group of laymen in 1944, while they were refining a technique to train pilgrim Christian leaders. "Cursillo" means "short course" in English and through this short course you will learn and explore methods through which your spirituality can grow, deepen and enrich your environment. Your journey with the Cursillo movement begins during a three day retreat and continues with regularly scheduled meetings, small groups and fellowship with other Cursillistas.

The first Cursillo was introduced in the United States in Waco, Texas in 1957. Therefore, 2017 marks the sixtieth anniversary of Cursillo in the United States. Come celebrate this historic milestone for Cursillos in Christianity!
